Our Italian conchiglie pasta (pasta shells), are great for pasta bakes and for holding sauces.
Green lasagne from Northern Italy, produced with passion and love. Sheets are pre cooked and ready to use directly in the baking pan.
Spread in a greased baking pan a layer of lasagne and a first layer of very fluid béchamel or tomato sauce. Cover with lasagne and sauce and so on. Be sure that the upper layer of lasagne is completely covered with sauce and cheese. Place in a pre-heated oven of 200 degrees for 35 minutes.

Italian organic pasta made by Iris Bio in Lombardy, Northern Italy. Iris Bio have been a workers’ cooperative since 1978 (nearly as long as we have!). They make pasta about 10km away from the farm using bronze dies (pasta shaping tools) which help to create a texture that holds a sauce much better than conventional methods . The pasta is made using a low temperature method and is slow dried to ensure optimum nutritional quality.

Our organic wholewheat fusilli pasta has a naturally porous and rough surface, great to hold condiments such as a classic tomato sauce or one of Suma’s tasty organic pasta sauces. Then it’s dried slowly to preserve the nutrients and bring out the taste and aromas of the wheat. Delicious! And now we’ve ditched the plastic. Our Italian organic wheat pasta is now packaged in biodegradable and recyclable paper, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Printed with water-based ink and heat-sealing lacquers without solvents. The product lasts as long as it would in plastic packaging, if stored correctly.
