£8.49Clearspring hemp oil is made from the highest quality European grown organic hemp seeds (Cannabis Sativa). These are cold pressed without chemicals to maximise flavour and nutrition. Naturally high in ALA and omega 3 fatty acid, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels (2g of ALA a day).
Cold-pressed hemp oil is a great source of both omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. I particularly like the fact that hemp oil contains a good amount of omega-3 – significantly more than some other nut and seed oils such as pumpkin and sunflower seed. These omega-3 fats can be converted by our body into other omega-3s called EPA and DHA, which are important for heart and brain health.
