Used for treating loss of appetite, it’s also used for Anorexia, nematode worms and thread-worms. Due to Quassia containing insecticidal properties it is most commonly used externally for the treatment of lice. Quassia bark is very bitter in taste and can also be used as a substitute for beer hops.
Also known as lemon grass, barbed wire grass, silky heads, Cochin grass, Malabar grass, oily heads, citronella grass or fever grass. Lemongrass has a lemon flavour, with a hint of mint.
